How We Work
At Keenalytix, we are first and foremost consultants, and most of our work is project-based. A typical client journey follows these steps:

1. Discovery Calls
We begin with one or two discovery calls to clearly define the problem you need to solve. Expect a lot of questions—this helps us structure our approach effectively.

2. Data Assessment
A key part of discovery is assessing your data: Do you have the necessary data, and how reliable is it? This typically involves a call with your IT/Data team and a request for a small sample to confirm feasibility.

3. Proposal Development
Within a week of discovery, we deliver a proposal outlining a clear, detailed solution. Many prospects find our proposals valuable in their own right.

4. Project Execution
Upon acceptance, we proceed with the project. Here’s what to expect:
- Our approach is “light touch” by consulting standards—most of our time is spent analyzing data and crafting recommendations. We hold bi-weekly check-ins but respect that your time is valuable.
- About 75% of our engagements are fully remote. The remaining 25% may involve 1-2 days on-site for kickoff and/or final presentations, as requested.
- Projects typically take 4 to 8 weeks (sometimes up to 12 weeks for complex cases involving multiple regions, business lines, or deeper transformations).
- Budgets generally range from $50K to $150K, set during the proposal phase based on project complexity and expected value. We offer fixed pricing—we commit to outcomes, not timesheets, and do not bill hourly/daily rates.

5. Post-Project Support
Once the project is complete, clients handle implementation. We typically check in monthly for 3-6 months to ensure expected results are achieved.

6. Ongoing Support (Retainers)
About half of our clients transition to a retainer agreement for:
- Closer implementation support
- Regular updates to analysis and recommendations (usually quarterly)
Clients on retainers are typically those aiming to be “best in class” in pricing and sales analytics, maximizing every available opportunity.
